We haven’t tested using BetterLinux with PHP-FPM, but it should work with BetterLinux daemons. PHP processes are started by Apache. If you’re using mod_betterlinux, Apache will correctly set the target rcuid before starting PHP so any PHP plugins and enhancements will work. The same is true with suEXEC and suPHP. But we don’t have mod_betterlinux for web servers besides Apache at this stage. So if using PHP-FPM with LiteSpeed and you come across a PHP site, mod_betterlinux won’t switch to the target user before processing a web page, ie., it won’t work.
