BetterLinux supports all hypervizor-based virtualization, including Xen, KVM, Hyper-V, VMware, and Parallels. Keep in mind that BetterLinux requires even virtual machines to have at least 4 cores.
When using BetterLinux on a VPS, you'll need to be able to install your own custom kernel (the BetterLinux kernel) instead of running the hosting provider's default kernel.
Although BetterLinux can control what goes on within a virtualized machine, it will not control what resources are made available to the virtual machine as a whole unless BetterLinux is also installed on the bare metal which supports the virtual machine.
